Ok I'm a bit greedy starting another thread. But of these two which would you pick? I know they are both a bit marmite! I don't mind the fruit association or the movie association.

Yeah I think Juno is pretty special too, I'm not overly worried that it will be shortened to June, family won't o it anyway or I would be very very

I love both but Juno is special. Will she end up being called June though?

I think I may use them both and go with Juno Clementine

My YD's bff is a Clem and she is anything but twee! I think of it as a traditional but fearless name, rather like her.
Juno is a difficult one, as it depends on what your daughter grows up to be like....sort of the female equivalent of naming ones son Hercules and praying they don't grow up looking more like a Damocles :-D. If you are tall serene people then perhaps Juno will work for you.

Yeah, I really think so. I would rather have the name of a Goddess who's role was to protect the people than risk being called clammy Clemmie any day

Juno is a classical name, a Roman Goddess. How could it ever be a chav name
Our local maternity unit is a called the 'Juno suit' as Juno comes from the word for rejuvenate and Juno the Goddess was also a protector of the community which I think is beautiful.

Astley, that would be my reservation about Clementine the lack of nice nn. Bonsoir, I don't really agree about Juno and its chav potential....is it because of the movie that you say that? The movie certainly didn't boost its usage anyway going by recent name stats.

Oops posted too soon, also meant to say Clementine is very twee. Not what i's want to be called as an adult.
Juno is a strong, classic name.

Juno. Clementine will always be a fruit and Clemmie is not a nice nn. All the clammy Clemmie and Phelgmy Clemmie potential.
Juno has chav potential which Clementine doesn't.

Clementine for me. Juno doesn't sound like a real name. ....like an Aussie version of a name....if you know what I mean?! ha ha x
Love Juno, not keen on Clementine

I would pick Juno as DHBF has a Clementine!

Love them both. Don't get Juno Watts.
Reckon criticisms from people could be Juno is more pretentious, and Clementine feels more posh.
