Hamish or Harrison...

I love both names. I love Harrison and nn Harry though the popularity does put me off. I love Hamish for no reason other than I just do. So far though i've had rolled eyes when mentioned. rMiddle name will be Edward.

Definitely Hamish. By a long way actually.

Harrison is the kind of name that soap stars give their kids. Apologies if you're a soap star wink

Hamish! Love it, suggested it for DS, but DP thought I was joking sad he wanted to call him Rex, so was in no bloody position to be laughing at Hamish.

Hamish! Much much nicer, imo. Gorgeous name! adds it to the list for not-yet-conceived dc2!

Hamish is a fantastic name. Not keen on Harrison at all.

Hamish! I like Harrison, but there is only one, let's be realistic!

Nothing wrong with Harrison. I'm not a soap star!

I vote Hamish...

Hamish - fabulous love it. Harrison really hate it, sorry, but know several so some people clearly like it.

I have a Hamish, therefore biased. It is easy to pronounce and spell, if that help. I think it goes well with Archie. It is easy to find books with characters called Hamish in them, but with a slight tendency for it to be a comedy name. It's not impossible to shorten but nothing obvious, if you prefer children to have the name you gave them.

Hamish is great, Harrison is not.

Another vote for Hamish! It's a great name. Not fond of Harrison either.

Yay so I'm not odd for liking Hamish! I do love Harrison but would only go for that as I love Harry. Popularity of it does not really bother me ish it's how it sounds with other dc names that puts me off. I think Hamish goes well with both dc names and as middle name will be Edward we are already calling bump 'little Ted' no obvious terrible nn for Hamish. Then I wake up and think I love Harry will I regret not using it arraghh!!!

Hamish. It's a no brainer.

DS2 has a friend called Hamish who is a sweetie, and I love the name.
I know a Harris, which I like much more than Harrison.

I love Hamish. I love my very own Hamish and am therefore biased somewhat. And it goes wonderfully with Archie.
