That's sweet but not when he's 35. Peter Richard was my choice for dd2 because Richard was my uncle who was killed before I was born. I think it's nice actually and Richard really isn't much used now.

Yeah a bit 'Peter Rabbit' - have you thought of swapping them "Robert Peter" sounds good.
ATEOTD thought DH says that middle names are there to embarrass kids so..... Still I wouldn't let him give our son Albert as a middle name! (Nothing against the name, it just sounds hilarious with our last name!)

Didn't think Robert was a name for a willy as I have a Robert and LOVE the name - especially as it has a few 'nicknames' should he ever wish to use them.

Lol. Thanks for being honest, i thought it probably wasnt just me! Both names are my two grandfathers so would like to use them, but Robert also FILs name so DH won't allow as a first name (even though it is my favourite name of all time!). Also like Arthur and Edward, so could do either with Robert and Peter as middle names, though that gives ARP or ERP which looks ugly to me!

Peter Robert I actually like. It's not as if you live in the Deep South and will be screaming 'Peter Robert, you git yersel' back in here!' from the verandah. I have to remind myself what DD's middle name is, and God I OBSESSED over it at the time.

The first thing that came into my head when I rad the title was "Peter Rabbit's go a fly upon his nose", probably only because we sang it at baby group this morning!

I think Arthur Robert Peter flows really well, and don't see any problem with ARP.

Agree that you could have 2 middle names. Peter Edward Robert then you are separating the names but still able to use them.

How about Robin instead of Robert? Peter Robin sounds great and Robin has the same meaning as Robert.
