Harry David. Does it flow well? We've struggled with first name and finally settled on Harry. David is partners father and grandfathers name which is why we chose it, just unsure if it sounds ok.

Sounds like Larry David, so that would be a thumbs up from me.

Harry is very popular at the moment though and he's likely to be one of several at nursery and school. Depends if that's a problem or not. You could always switch the names?

I first read Hairy David, not sure you'd want that?

There are thousands of little Harrys out there already (wasn't it THE most popular boys name last year?), and two Harrys in our cub scouts group have the same surname!

How about using David as first name - not lots of those around.

It sounds good. Solid.

Henry David also sounds good and you could still use Harry.

I like hellokitty123's idea. David is a great name and not common at all at the moment.

Yes, they go fine, I know someone with the same name but the other way around.

We have a Charlie David and a Harry Lee both wee monkies! grin

Good choice. I think most names flow well with Harry, and yes Harry David does flow well and sounds good. I know teenage siblings called David and Harry too. David is also underused at the moment.

If bump turns out to be a boy he is going to be Harry too.

Yes sounds like Larry David who I love but not sure would want that association for DS!

<outs self>

I have a Henry David here, and always get lots of compliments on it smile

I've got a Henry David too! But he's got a second middle name to appease both sides of the family.

Harry David is lovely smile

I'd use David as a first name for preference too
