Hi all, I'm fairly new here :)

I've one DS Harrison and I'm expecting DS2 in feb. we're really stuck deciding on names, hence why I'm posting!

On our list are:
Hudson (very samey and in my previous life as a nanny I had a charge called Hudson so some people might think it's weird?)
Mason (another 'son')
Riley (oh not impressed with!)
Blake (we love this but it's also our dogs name!)
Lennon (I don't think I'm brave enough to use this, don't want to be the woman who gave her children names from the Beatles!)
Niall (again, oh not keen)
Lewis (I adore but it's my oh's cousin's DS's name, that we've never met...)

The surname is Hancock...

Opinions and other suggestions gratefully received!

We have quite different taste, but I'd definitely rule out Hudson and Mason as too similar to Harrison.

Are you after another 'surname as first name' given lots on your shortlist?

Bailey
Carter
Cole?

Not particularly wanting another surname, they're just what I seem to like Blush

I had thought of Jackson but again, it's too similar I think.

ouryve I've heard it all before!! Wink

You're allowed to like that sort of name- regardless what the MN jury say Wink.

Personally I'd rule out anything ending in -son as it will sound very similar.

Miller is nice with Harrison.

Any you like from this list and maybe people can suggest some similar. Can't have you naming your son after your dog can we Wink

I know 3 Harrisons.
One has a brother called George and one has a brother called Dylan. The other has a sister so no help there!

I do like Miller! It's definately on the list, I'm hoping its a 'grower' for my DP.

My DP has a family full of boys so that takes out quite a few. Then if I cross off all the children I've nannied for/ dads that I've worked for that narrows it further. I think Lewis is still my number one choice but its not just up to me!

I'm appreciating all the suggestions though :)
