Initials BMW

We've just started discussing names for our little one.

I love the name Beatrice for a girl as does Dh but our surname is double barrelled MW initials, giving main initials as Bmw

We also like
Flora ( not sure due to product)
Lara
Cecily
Rowan

Middle name will probably be Skye. Only have problems with girls names, boys are all sorted

Can you let me know you thoughts on these initials

Hmmm, I don't think I'd go for BMW, but they're not the worst initials. When I was at school, BMW was subverted into initials for a racial slur ... let's hope that we live in more enlightened times now.

My main concern is Beatrice Skye - to my ears, those names don't fit together (sorry).

If your surname is double barrelled tbh honest I'd think of her initials as BM. Also, you're having a middle name so technically would be BSM or BSMW.

So....wouldn't bother me really...if Beatrice is your favourite name I'd use it.

I love Lara from your list, its elegant and underused and very, very pretty. All the Lara's I've ever taught have been beautiful children too, so I have a lovely association with it. I also think Lara Skye has a nice flow to it.

The BMW initials wouldn't bother me. You could do worse. But with a middle name it wouldn't be strictly BMW.

I don't think that's bad. My initials are worse but nobody has ever commented on them, not even at school.

The initials could be worse, although I did swap DD's names otherwise she would have been ETC!
