Would you use same initials for dc1&2 but not for dc3?

Just that really. Ds1 begins with E and one of the two names I really love for dc2 begins with an E, however I would have no intention of giving a third child a name that begins with E! Would this be unfair to a future yet to be conceived dc3?

Me and dh were talking about initials last night, he has the same as his dad with one extra middle initial and my dad shared initials with his Dad and with his brother. It's fine now they don't share a postal address...

I wouldn't use the same initials for two siblings, let alone three! More than two with the same initials makes it look like you wanted a matching set, which to me is very odd and in Duggar type territory.

I don't think it's a problem. It's probably better if the third child has a name with a different initial letter.

All or nothing I say! We all know Rob Kardashian is the least fave because he's not got a K name!

fingers crossed that sarcasm came across

I did. Never really thought about it. Does it matter?

I did, not a problem. I've got the same initial as dd1 and ds, but dd3 and dd4 have different initials, really doesn't matter.

My siblings and I all share an initial. As do my 4 cousins.
I have an E1 and E2 which how DH refer to them when texting!

Seems normal to me. Saves fortune on name tapes.

Hmm...I have a name I would want to use for a potential dd2 however it starta with the same initial as dd1 so will.probably be relegated to middle.name.

Couldnt call dc2 a name with the same inital. I also wouldnt use the same initial as dh or I.

SIL BIL and DNeice are all (name change) S Thompson. Grin

There are (were) tax benefits if you have same name which apparently is the reason my parents did it.
