Have just dug a list of possible names for my future DC I made when I was 15 or 16. It contains such gems as:
Girls:
Misty
Rio
Destiny
Lutricia
Kiri
Loralei
Tea (with a dash over the 'e' i.e. pronounced Taya)
Pinkie
Boys:
Nolan
Drey
Bu
Jenner
Duane
Clifford
Fox
Wilder
Feel free to point and laugh, and to share the mental names you once thought you might call your DC.
I distinctly remember a conversation with our group of girls when we were 14 about this and we wrote them down on postcards!
(Mine were Leannah and Maia, and Elliott and Zane).

I desperately wanted a daughter called Toni. I thought it was the height of sophisticated cool. Further down the list were Lacey and Shannon. I'd write them down in a book as and when I was inspired so as not to forget them in later life

Kieran Matthew
Mark Robert
Ruby Edith
I still quite like Kieran and would have used Ruby had it not got so popular. Edith is DD's middle name.
I'm still a massive Take That fan but probably won't be naming any children after them...

My DS has a currently very popular old Testament name that I have loved since I was a teenager. If I had had him when I was in my early 20s I would have been cutting edge. As it is, I had him in my mid 30s and he is just one of millions with the same name!
Channing.....think it might have been for a girl. Too much Dynasty, Knots Landing nonsense in my head.

I had a list of what my 6 children would be called. Unfortunately it got thrown away and I've forgotten most of them.
Ashley was a boy.
Charlotta for a girl. I didn't want Charlotte because she was a nasty bully in my class, so changed it slightly!

At that age, my first born daughter was going to be Saffron. And that was before AbFab.
The name I liked for a boy when I was 15 is the name I gave to my son when I had him about 20 years later!
