Sibling for Amelie

I love Sophie, Vivienne (pr Vi -vee-ENNE), Juliette, Mila and Juno.

DH has vetoed all of them except Juno.

I think Juno Vivienne (mn) sounds nice.

Does Juno go with our DD's name, Amelie?

What are your thoughts on Juno, don't hold back!

If it's a boy I like Capar, DH prefers Charlie. Any thoughts?!

I don't think Juno goes with Amelie-sorry! Amelie is such a pretty name and Juno doesn't sound pretty and soft at all. Is there any way to win your OH round on Sophie as that would work really well

PorkusEnormous · 18/11/2012 08:11

Oooops, I meant CASPAR, not Capar!

Sophie my DH declares an unjustifiable hatred for, but I will keep trying!

Love Caspar. Also love Charlie but rather overused at the moment.

Juno is a fabulous name. Does it matter if sibling names 'go' together? I don't think so. Much better than Sophie which is really wet, sorry.

Vivienne is also gorgeous.

Thank you Surrey for your feedback. DH has come around to Vivienne as of this afternoon!

So if it's a girl it will be Juno or Vivienne :)

I love juliet, Mila and Juno. I think Vivienne is a pretty name but maybe a bit too pretty, cant imagine a toyboy Vivienne if you know what i mean.
Love Amelie and think Mila might be a bit too similar. Think if i personally had to choice, Juliet has more of a lasting factor.

CharlieCoCo · 18/11/2012 17:52

Sorry, you spell it Juliette.

OkayHazel · 19/11/2012 01:04

If you have a Juno and an Amelie you have two DDs named after films.

Snazzyfeelingfestive · 19/11/2012 01:07

Vivienne is lovely. Also Juliet/te (I prefer the shorter spelling but it's not my call Smile I see Okay Hazel 's point; it might seem like each time you just read the backs of your DVDs for inspiration.

baskingseals · 19/11/2012 09:39

definitely Vivienne.

PorkusEnormous · 19/11/2012 19:06

Thanks for the responses...DH is definitely veering toward Vivienne now. I never thought about having both girls named after films before! gah, definitely not Juno then!

I like Juliette a lot but my DH is dead against (unless he changes his mind again like he just has with Vivienne).

If she turns out to be a tom boy she will just have to go by 'Vivi'!
