Did you go with Lotte as the official name or as a nickname for something else? How do you pronounce it by the way? Is it Lott-ee or Lott-ah?

Love Georgia (my best friend!)

Thanks everyone smile Our baby girl has arrived. Thanks for help and suggestions. I went into labour and couldn't see the answers before naming. My husband was impatient to name soon and announce!! Baby Lotte is the most adorable thing. Best if luck everyone xx

What about Carlotta?

I like Audrey best but not sure it goes with your middle name choices.

Sadie and Georgia are two of my fave girls names.

Lots of Poppys, Daisys and Lolas where I live.

Think Sadie Chick sounds fab!!

Sadie - love it. Slightly cool and quirky but pretty
Poppy - bit meh. It's nice enough
Lola - not keen, it sounds a bit 'loll-y'
Violet (Lotte) - quite like it
Daisy - it's ok. Pretty but nothing special
Audrey - really don't like this, I think it's old and dowdy
Anais - not sure how to say it?
Edie - like it but would christen Edith

His top list:
Montana (Monty) - Is this a name? It's nice enough I guess
Layla - quite like it
Georgia - like it but prefer Georgina
Maddison (maddy) - like it

Ones we both like on our short list:
Charlotte (Charlie / Lotte) - really like it
Indiana (Indie) - I like it but you really can't have 'Indie Chick' wink
Estelle (Stella) - don't like it

Chick is a bit of a tough one to work with. I actually think it needs a long-ish name to sound right.

Sadie and Charlotte are my favourite of your choices but I'm not sure either sound great with chick. Two 'ch' sounds are expecially problemmatic.

I think possibly Georgia Chick and Maddison Chick work best from your options (Georgie Chick and Maddie Chick are ok too)

Alternatively, on a similar theme to the names you and your husband both agree on, how about:
Annabelle Chick
Abigail Chick
Claudia Chick
Emily Chick
Francesca Chick
Imogen Chick
Jessica Chick
Katherine Chick
Matilda Chick
Natalie Chick
Philippa Chick
Rebecca Chick
Serena Chick
Victoria Chick

I'd find flower names a bit too cutesy with your surname. I like Estelle/a and Anais; how about:

Tamsin
Corinna
Meredith
Rhiannon
Meryl

I love the name Georgia. So my choice would be Georgia Edith Chick. I also like Charlotte with the NN Lottie.

I think the ones that go best with your surname would be

Audrey Anais Chick
Estella Anais Chick (rather than Estelle)
Edith Anais Chick (Edie as nickname)
Anais Edith Chick

Your surname might give away your identity a bit as its not common, but worth mentioning as lots of names cd sound funny with it.

I would stick with more "grown up" names and avoid anything too cutesy, with cute fluffy chick, or anything that's like an adjective- Violet and Rose being colours.

Indie Chick is a no no.
Poppy or Daisy Chick sound funny too. Or Charlie Chick!

Audrey and Edith work. So does Anais.

My suggestions- Freya would be lovely and goes with surname fine.
Florence is nice but she might get Flossie
Chick.

hello there
My husband + I have different taste.

My top list:
Sadie
Poppy
Lola
Violet (Lotte)
Daisy
Audrey
Anais
Edie

His top list:
Montana (Monty) love nn but not formal version
Layla
Georgia
Maddison (maddy)

Ones we both like on our short list:
Charlotte (Charlie / Lotte)
Indiana (Indie)
Estelle (Stella)

The middle name we've chosen will be Anais or Edith (most likely Anais).

Surname is chick.

Pls help!! Opinions of above, or new similar suggestions.

Thanks in advance smile
