I have a DD Caroline. There's one in every year at her school. It's a funny one for nicknames - ours has somehow become Cabs along the way and my aunt Caroline ended up as Taal

I like it a lot. Classic, simple, pretty and not used much these days.

sorry and should add I much much prefer it to Jane.

Love it. Always wanted to use it if I ever had a DD but then when I met my DP he has a close relative called Caroline, so it's off the cards for us.
Had a childhood friend who got nicknamed Caz and an adult friend Cal... both inoffensive nicknames I think

I know a Caroline nicknamed Cary. Jane is also a classic underused name these days.

I prefer Jane.

I prefer Jane, I'm 37 and so knew a lot of Carolines at school and they were all called Caz.

Caroline is lovely and any that I know are genuinely nice people.

Dont like Jane really.

We considered Janey, and a friend is considering Caroline. Both great names.

Makes me was to pronounce it like the OUtkast song.

I like Caroline best - somehow seems like a cheerful name.

I prefer Jane.

Jane is the dullest name ever.
Caroline is much nicer, but it's still a Mum name like Rachel, Janet, Jane, Susan or Caire.

Not sure you can revive it yet.

Nice name although I personally prefer Carolyn.

Caroline much nicer than Jane (I have Jane as a middle name, like most other 1970s children and I loathe it!)

I find it hard to imagine a baby or toddler called Caroline, maybe because I only know adult ones. Confused High chance it will get shortened to Caz though.

I think Caroline is a lovely name. Probably fairly inevitable that she will become a Caz in her teenage years, but for a little girl I think the NN Carrie is very pretty Smile

I think it's beautiful - it was my grandmother's name and I'd be using it except that my sister's reserved it in case she has a girl next.

Beautiful. Classy. Excellent choice.

I don't really like either.

I like it especially as its my name ;-) also jane is my middle name. I've never really had it shortened to anything, so i wouldnt worry too much about that

My mum's name so I like it :)

I really like Caroline. I know a few and none of them have ever been nicknamed Caz! I hate those Z nicknames, so ugly. Carrie is lovely though.

Sorry neither.

Both are dated, Jane is a bit dull.
