Looking at the national statisitics James is top 10 and has been for a long time, but how many do you know?

I can only think of one in ds pre school, it doesn't seem that popular around here.

I know quite a few my age (36) but don't think there are any in my Reception boys class & only 1 in my Pre School sons class Grin

My DS1 has it as a middle name. If I'd of known we were going to have DS2 I wouldn't have used it as a middle name for DS1 but a first name for DS2!

James is an incredibly popular name in my area.

I will just count how many I know (aged 13 to about 5 as I don't know many very small children now) - I can think of 18 off the top of my head.

It really is up there with William, Tom and Joe. All fine names but nt for you if you want "not too popular2 tbh.

Ds1 is James. He is the only one I know (apart from my late dad). There are loads of Jamies though in various classes at school.

I know 2 who are 2 years old. Have counted the people with 2 year olds I know well and would consider friends- so that's 2/19. (Also know various older ones through work etc)

My 25 year old cousin, two 30+ year olds in one small workplace and one 8 year old. It is very common as a middle name because it's a nice, simple name and goes with everything. Nothing flowed correctly with my DS's names except for James and Jack so we stuck with them.

My ds is James. I don't know any others his age (2). I know a few older ones. It was never going to be a unique name but I love it!
