My first baby is due in a couple of weeks and I have narrowed her name to either Anna or Imogen. I thought the decision had been made - it was definitely going to be Anna but now the due date is approaching, suddenly I'm thinking of Imogen again. She will be known only by her first name. Please help. For what its worth I'm not concerned with nicknames. I intend to use her full name only. Thank you.

They're both lovely timeless names. I personally prefer Anna but do like them both. Tough decision!
Don't know if you're bothered about the popularity of the names but I've come across a lot of baby Imogens in the last year or so but haven't met any baby Annas.

Another one here for Anna
but agree with chummy - perhaps wait and see?
I think Anna is far less likely to get shortened and have a NN so if that bothers you, i'd probably pick Ann. But to be honest we don't ever really pick childrens names, I had a friend who had a lovely first name and to this day (she is late 30s) we call her by her surname (not sure why!)

Imogen is my favourite. It's a beautiful yet strong name.

Anna. I'd use it myself except SIL is Anna and it would mean 2 people in the family with exactly the same name
I think both are lovely. I've always loved Anna for a girl. I find it so classic.

I like Anna. But agree that maybe you should wait until you meet her. Or have both and let her decide in the future!

I have Anna whos an Annalise for her full name so I'm biased !
I know loads and loads of baby Imogen's so if you want an unusual name round here it's not the one!
Anna also very easy to spell when they're learning to write their name.I don't know any apart from my daughter that are children and I know loads of grown up Anna's all lovely!
