Me and dh do not see eye to eye at all on names,i'm nearly 12wks pregnant and any discussions we do have are met with Hmm from dh.
However this name has come up and shockingly we both quite like it,what are your thoughts?

It is my favourite boys name. However, when we got our cats three years ago, babies were not on the brain and we gave what are actually our favourite boy and girl names to the cats. Rex being the boy cat's name.

On discussing names after falling pregnant I was sad that I couldn't use Rex, and have struggled to find a name I like as much. But, in saying that, he totally suits it, and am very happy to have had a 'rex' around for the last three years.

Reminds me of the huge German Shepherd our neighbours had when I was growing up.

Love it. DH vetoed. our surname begins with R though which does make it sound more porny.

I teach a 10 year old Rex.

I'm warming to it because I like the child but, tbh, it kind of sounds like a dog to me (especially because I have a Felix and a Kitty in the same class!!)

It is a slightly four-legged name, but not impossibly so.

I like it.

As George Pig would say - 'raahh-dinosaur' Maybe I'm biased living with 4 young boys. However I reckon at school aged 5 he could have cult status for this.

I really like it. But feel it's a bit short for a birth certificate.

I have a long-deceased great uncle Rex whose full name was Reginald. Grin That's a bit of a weighty name for a wee baby (who of course won't be a baby for more than the blink of a eye, but still).

It definitely does not say porn star to me!
