I love Susan. The others are a bit too fussy. Susan is on our list.

I am a Susan, and love all of these! Have you thought of Susana? (think this is Spanish version of Susannah)

I haven't seen the name Susan for an age and a half.
DD had a friend called Suzannah, she was a nice little thing. Parents called her Sooze or Suzi.

I know one, it's a beautiful name sadly in stark contrast to an unfortunate personality. So make sure your child is really great and it'll be fine Smile

I have a Susannah (Suzy). Despite the fact that no-one can spell it and she can't buy anything with her name on (not necessarily a bad thing) it's a great name Smile. Also, we've only ever met one other and that wasn't in our home town.

BTW Most people misspell it as Suzanna so if that matters to you maybe go for that spelling

I have a Susannah - and as KateF said, it is frequently misspelled - even by my SIL!

Susan is my mum's name, and it does seem to be very popular among women around her age. I'm not sure whether it's quite enough of an 'old lady' name to have made a come back yet. Although come to think of it, I do know a couple of Susans in their 30s.

Anyway, if it helps in any way at all (probably not Grin) the order you listed the names in the OP would be my order of preference.

HTH!
