We've more or less decided on Florence Rose Grace for our dd who is due in 4 weeks. Because we know the sex and will be having elcs there are no suprises so we've kept the name secret from everyone else and therefore it's difficult to gauge opinion.
What do you guys think? Does it go together? Are there any suggestions you think I might like if I like these names - rearrangement, different middles or different entirely? Your thoughts and honesty are muchly appreciated :) xx

I like the name. The only thing is personally I don't think it flows well with the middle names because Rose and Grace are both one syllable with an "s" ending.
Florence Rose or Florence Grace would be nicer, or something like Florence Rosanna Grace is lovely. :)

Pretty names and I like Florence a lot. The only thing I would say is that Rose and Grave seem to be the current "filler" middle names (like Louise or Ann in the 70's). Do you have any connections to the names or do you just like the sound of them ?

I love them, very pretty. I want 2 middle names if we have a boy but DH not as sure! We have a fairly long surname.

With Florence been a long name and you saying u have a long surname i would personally just go with Florence Grace or Florence Rose as i think they flow better than using both...just my opinion though Smile

Three lovely names. You can't go wrong.

Love Florence, but do agree that both of the mn's together sound wrong, How about:

Florence Elizabeth Rose

Florence Elizabeth Grace

How about Flora?

Flora Rose Grace

I like it but there are lots of 's' sounds in there.

When I was pregnant with DD2 I considered Nancy Florence Grace, but my Mum pointed out all the 's' sounds - particularly as there seems to be a lisp issue on DH's side.

I'd go for Florence Grace and lose Rose. If you want three names, how about Florence Elizabeth Grace, as someone else suggested, or Florence Emily Grace.

Yes having Rose and Grace together does sound rather cumbersome. Florence Rose or Florence Grace however are both lovely.

If you wanted all three I'd stick in another syllable eg Florence Rosa Grace

I don't silike the three together, but I do think the Grace is a bit superfluous. Just Florence Rose is lovely.

Rose is just about everyone's middle name at the moment - not that it's not nice, it's just ultra, ultra, popular.

i agree that the 3 together are a bit of a mouthful - though love them all. i would go for 2 of teh 3 and you MUST keep florence - it is so lovely.

I have to say Florence Rosa Grace does sound better.

Florence is lovely.

Rose and Grace are default middle names along with May, so I'd avoid, especially both together.

Rose would be lovely as a first name, it seems only to be being stuck on to names as a middle name option.

Grace is just over-used as both first and middle names.

It's a very pretty name but, for me, I'm not sure that Rose Grace "flows" that well. How about using Rosie Grace or Gracie Rose as middle names?
