Jamie or Isaac?

DP loves Jamie but I prefer Isaac. We both like the other though! DP's surname starts with D. He likes the initials JD instead of ID but I don't think thats important. We had decided on Isaac James but now my DP has decided to throw it all up in the air again with Jamie Isaac! What do you think? Any ideas welcome.

I love the name Isaac (as I have one of my own) so I prefer Isaac James

Prefer Isaac James. Slightly prefer James Isaac though but not Jamie Isaac. I think James is slightly less unusual at the mo than Isaac but I could be wrong

I've got a 19 year old Jamie.
He was our 2nd DS and we couldn't think of a name for him before he was born (knew he was a boy) and one day when DH was picking up eldest from nursery he heard someone calling a little boy Jamie and came home and told me he liked it.
My only slight worry all those years ago was is it a little boys name rather than a mans name.
Needn't have worried as although he has no friends called Jamie there are various celebrities / football players with the name.
He has picked up various family nick names over the years such as Jaimo, Jim, Jimbo, Jame, Jamjar (his auntie!) the jamster (his friends).
He's gorgeous and handsome though and I'm really glad DH heard the name that day in nursery.

I have a pal with an Isaac and another whose surname it is. Seems to be one of those names which people really struggle to spell. Not that that is a reason to not go for it but just warning you - both my friends find it extremely irritating!
