It's now old enough to be classic.

Like.

A remake of the movie 'Arthur' starring Russell Brand is out this April.
Just so you know - incase things like that tend to change your opinions on names.

Not keen on the name Arthur myself though tbh

Really I chose names that we liked and remember those who don't like it - well you'd probably hate their favourite names Smile

Arthur is not an awful name - its lovely and romantic and chivalrous and strong.

I love Arthur if I ever had a boy it would be my first choice...I think of the once and future King...

DH on the other hand hates it and cites Arthur Daley...

I guess its a good job we only had girls....

Yes you see I never really think of Arthur Daley or Fowler but just of King Arthur.

I have one too and so love it! Bit disappointed to hear about the Russell Brand thing, he's not exactly my favourite actor! Agree with Tracey that if you like it, then just go for it - if we all liked the same names then life would be very boring!

My neighbour has a 5 year old son called Arthur, I love it and he's a gorgeous little boy too. Not that that is necessarily relevant Grin

Bloody love it and won't be able to use it (doesn't work with DP's surname) so please use it on my behalf!

Love it, but was my dad's name, and therefore DS MN, so am biased.

I can't decide. Part of me loves it and part of me hates it as it is just too old man and I worry that I am getting swayed by it being a bt cool right now.

reddaisy I think Im exactly the same over it to be honest.
