So, I can't use Rose or Rosa, as I have a Rose-type name.

What is as simple & pretty, please?

I'm losing the will here, a bit! This will be my last thread on this particular topic...

All suggestions most welcome...

I wasn't allowed to consider Rose as my DH works in horticulture (could have gone either way that), although DD was called Pergola antenatally, thanks to a friend who felt we should go for something garden-related.

We chose Anna in the end.

Heather
Iris
Lily

are nice if you want to go for the plant theme.

Some LOVELY ones there, thank you!

I would go for Iris, but it's niece's name.

My dd is Ruby!

My dh won't countenance 'Pearl' as it would make a jewel / precious stone double...

We have a Rosanna and have always called her Zanna for short - she put it in the mumsnet baby name search the other day and discovered it is actually a real name.
