After 33 weeks of bickering me and DP have finally picked 3 girls names we agree on. :)

Francesca
Felicity
Edith/Edie

Now it's just a case of picking one of those Confused

I like them all, possibly Felicity the least.

I love Felicity and Edith.

I really don't like the name Francesca, it has a most unpleasant sound to my ears.

Edith/ Edie.

I prefer Frances to Francesca and I think Felicity is very frilly.

Yes I prefer Frances to Francesca too.

Edith or Francesca, both have lovely nns too!

Edie is lovely, but seems to be getting mroe popular.

Fran is gorgeous but I agree with others, I prefer Frances.

I really don't like Felicity - it's along the lines of Cecilia or Clarissa in my mind. Frilly but also a little insepid sounding. Sorry to be harsh!

I Like Francesca and Edie. Felicity sounds a bit like a girl who would own a pony and have a boyfriend called Tarquin.

francesca is lovely
all the felicities I have known have been rather wet so that colours my opinion but may not colour yours!

Edith/Edie are a bit trendy and will date them I think...

Felicity is gorgeous. Classic and more unusual than Edie or Francesca these days.

The name also has a nice meaning (lucky)

I have only ever met one woman named Felicity and she was intelligent, confident and far from wet....

In fact I was quite in awe of her and it may explain why I love the name so much

i don't like any, sorry.

Felicity.

Really not keen on either of the other two, I'm afraid.

Felicity is gorgeous and love Fliss/Flis as a nn. Also really like Edie and Francesca, but would personally choose Felicity.

Felicity is nice. My middle name is Felicia which is similar. I think it's a lovely name, with a lovely meaning

ah now you see I think felicia is lovely

it is definitely the associations with wet people that colours felicity for me

I have found that I have to wait till I meet my baby before I decide on the final choice. TBH I haven't ever gone with our first choice of name, it has never suited any of them! They have always had one of the others from our list. Escept DC3 who had to wait 4 days before we could think of something that suited him.
