Trying to come up with some ideas!
Finding girls really hard, but would appreciate some feedback on both.

Oran
Muir

Flora
Sadie

We are both Scotish & living in Scotland.

I've never heard of either of the names for a boy but I like both. I don't like Flora because it just reminds me of the margarine... maybe Fleur instead, which I think is lovely, or Fiora, which is a bit more exotic (Italian)?

Sadie is lovely

Also like Tessa

Never heard of the boys names, but I like tradional names for boys. They are a bit too different for me.

Are Oran and Muir boys? If so, then OK. I know an Odhran, pronounced Oran, if that helpss. How about Keir? Same sort of vibe.

Flora, I am afraid, has been spoiled by the marge. Fiona? Fleur?

Sadie is nice,

Yes, Oran and Muir are for a boy. Oran is a varient of Odhran, which is the Irish spelling.
I do quite like Keir, but worry that it sounds a bit chavvy (don't really like that word, but it kind of sums up what I mean!)

I like Oran and Muir - masculine, simple to spell/pronounce and quite unique (hadn't heard them before).

I'm not keen on Sadie and Flora is ok.

I like Muir, and Oran is lovely - I had it on my list for DS (was looking at Manx names).

Prefer Flora to Sadie. I know one Flora and although I agree about the margarine thought, it actually didn't occur to me when I met a real baby.

I think I like them all.

The boys names are new to me, and out of the two I think I like Muir (Oran being a bit close to Aaron/Arron of which there are a few about).

I knew a Sadie at school who did sometimes get called Sadist... (she probably was, though).

Do you know I hadn't even thought of the margarine, it only made me think of Flora McDonald. Obviously lots of other people will think of margarine though!
Glad to get some positive feedback on Muir and Oran, I am really struggling to come up with any others.

I like Flora and Sadie but would choose Sadie as it's a bit stronger and less used.

Your boys names are awful. Sorry, and i'M a Celt myself! Oran, I knew one and he was called Onan through school. ha ha ha. Poor guy.

Why did he get called Onan?

I've never heard of the boys names before but I like Oran, it's nice :)

Although, just as I wrote it I had an urge to write Orangutan - sorry :(

I agree about Flora, it's a shame because it's such a pretty name but it has been ruined by the bloody margarine :( Fleur is lovely tho, and quite close?

I love both the girls names - I taught a sadie and she was a lovely little girl. She was also really pleased to find out her name meant princess!
