It's Evander. Means 'good man', is from Roman mythology.

Could be Evan for short...

Evander is a great name! What's wrong with it? (apart from Evander Holyfield association of course, is that so bad?)

Since Evander Holyfield is the only example I could think of, then yes, it probably is that bad an association.

Would your DH accept Lysander as an alternative? Xmas Wink
