You don't get put off by Zara the store??? I really like the name but worried that people will immediately think "high street shopping"!

i like it, dont think u have to be put off by the store but if it bothers you that much could put zahra as a different spelling but it might alter the pronounciation
i think just zara is fine really

I love it, it's always been on my list but DH wouldn't let me use it.

My friend just had a Zara, I quite like it.

Like it but DH said no. Might try and add it back on the list...

Not convinced. Bit too girly/ fashion modelly for me. Somehow can't imagine a Zara in jeans and t-shirt, jumping round playing air guitar!

I like it too.

I like it and you don't hear it too often. IMO a good choice.

Yes, I have heard of only a few Zaras but not any lately. Hopefully it wont get too popular!!

I think it's great too. You are lucky if it goes with your surname. You should use it

Really nice name - didn't even think of the shop.

Thank you for mentioning the name Zara. When I read this post yesterday I liked the name and mentioned it to my bloody fussy dh. And he liked it, in fact I think he was quite excited. We don't know the sex of our baby but at least we may have a girls name sorted, just got to agree on some boys name! Smile

Also it's good enough for royalty!

It is a nice name I know a Zara and a Tara both very good names,

It's a nice name, I'd be inclined to spell it Zara otherwise you're DC will spend a lot of time spelling it out and being frustrated with people getting it wrong.
