Looking for middle name for baby boy due next week. He is going to be Leo Nathaniel or Nathaniel ......? Any ideas? Was thinking about Nathaniel Lee but not sure if it flows very well. Other options are Nathaniel Stuart or Nathaniel Jon. Any other ideas welcome? Also wots more popular just now Leo or Nathaniel? Thanks for any help - beginning to find this name thing very stressful!

Are you happy that it will be shortened to Nate or Nat? (I love both, actually). Prefer it to Leo. Good luck for the birth :)

Ooh... I thought James too before I opened the thread.

I have always liked the name Nathaniel, more than Leo although I think that's good too.

Not keen on Lee as a MN. Would opt for Stuart or Jon. However if you go for Jon rather than Jonathan then my preference would be to spell it John (unless you are using the name to honour a family member etc)

Thanks for the replies. We have a 2 syllable surname. Also would u use a long name like nathaniel even tho your other kids have short 3 or 4 letter names? Its so difficult!!!

LOVE LOVE the name Nathaniel. Unfortunately DH doesnt.

Its fine to have a long name with your other kids. Seen it done lots of times.

Nathaniel is a lovely name. I prefer it to Leo but I love Leo too.

Why not Nathaniel Leo?

I think Nathaniel Jude sounds good.
