I am in a quandary. These are our possible choices of names but we are struggling to make any final decisions with only 3 weeks to go. Any thoughts on these:

Boys:
Sebastian (really don't like Sebby/Sebbie though as this is slightly putting us off) but like Seb
Jacob ? and maybe Jake for short
Frank

Girls:
Esther
Cleo - is this too girly?
Jessica

I know two Sebastians and they both get called 'Baz' at school.

Cleo is absolutely awful, sorry.

Jacob is ok, as is Jessica.

I don't like Seb/Sebbie(reminds me of sebacious = oily).

Jacob/Jake is quite common.

Frank could grow on me, actually.

I love Cleo (short for Cleopatra?)

Sebastian and Cleo definitely. I have never ever heard my friend Sebastian called Sebby, ever, and I've known him since he was 5.

I don't like Jake or Seb, but am starting to like Frank/Frankie.

Cleo/Cloepatra and Esther are both lovely. Don't like Jess/Jessica.

I like Cleo and Frank. Esther is quite nice too.

Jake, Jess and Seb are all too popular and I don't really like the sound of them either.

I don't think I've ever heard the abreviation Sebbie for Sebastian - its always Seb itsn't it? I don't think you've a problem there. I like Esther too.

Is Cleo short for Cleopatra?

I do know a few Sebbies (short for Sebastians), and don't really like Seb/Sebbie, although Sebastian sounds nice.

Jacob and Jessica are way too popular.

Frank? Really? That used to be the name of my fish and great-great-grandfather. Really dislike it.

Esther don't like either. Reminds me too much of Easter and quite difficult for littlies to say.

My favourites are Sebastian and Cleo although don't like any of your girl choices if I'm honest.

I've just had a Sebastian & so far everyone is calling him Sebastian apart from kids (ds1 is 3) who mostly call him Bastian - I guess the full name is a bit long for them

I love Sebastian, a name I would use if I had another DS in the future. I don't like Frank, sorry and girls aren't to my taste either.
