I really like it but there is something of the Bond villain about it - maybe thats a good thing? Also my best friend had a German Shepherd dog called Otto.

Otto is a German name, meaning wealth, My friend has an Otto and he's a real boy's boy! It's a great name.

It's alright but not great, a bit simple.

I love Otto. I knew a fantastic little boy called Otto whose parents were trapeze artists - it suited him completely! And whoever asked it if was a real name gets a Biscuit

I like it. Reminds me of Anne Franks father Otto Frank.
Also the name of a lift manufacturer. That sort of thing seeps into your consiousness without you noticing.

I really like it but it reminds me irresistibly of A Fish Out of Water.

Love it. A nice strong name for a boy. Only wish I could go for names like that - me and DH are worlds apart on boys names...

It's top of my 'brave' list.

I know one, he's a lovely little boy.

Love it. Was on our list (we had a girl in the end). Think its German - my German MIL was horrified and said it was a name for a farm boy which made me like it even more Grin

I suspect it's in line to be the next next (or maybe even next!) big thing - ends in "O" so will follow on from Arlo, Milo, Jago etc.... Like it though.

Reminds me of Kevin Kline in A Fish Called Wanda

I have one. I love it. It suits him down to the ground.

I like this name, you might have to explain you didn't name him after the Otto in the Simpsons however! A friend of mine has a little Otto and it suits him really well but she has been asked about the Simpsons quite a lot!
