I know it doesn't really matter, but how would most of you spell them? I prefer Darcy, not sure with Mick(e)y. p.s i don't like Darcie or Miki.

The well known ballerina spells it as Darcey, but I think Darcy is more common.

PS. Are you really going to call your child,Mickey?

Darcy without the e and Mickey with.

But for heaven's sake, put Michael on the birth certificate, so that he can ultimately choose whether he shares a name with the rodent or not...

I have known a girl Darcey spelled with an "ey". Spelt Darcy looks more masculine- somehow?

p.s of course im going to put Michael on the birth cert, he'd be named after my late dad, just thought it was a bit grown up for a new born so thought of Mickey while hes little. Anyway, found out we're having a girl so Darcy it is! Grin
