Overdue and still no names!

Hi,

Overdue with DC2 and still have not really decided on any names (don't know the sex)! DS is called Finlay.....

For boys: I like Reuben, DH likes Elliot (which I think is ok, but not convinced for a first name). I also like Scottish names such as Lachlan/Lewis/Innes but DH not so keen (I am Scottish).

For girls: I like Orla, DH likes Erin (and did last time too). I like a few other Irish names (I have Irish heritage) but we live in North West and spelling most of them in Gaelic would prob end up being problematic for the child (and DH!).

Any ideas please? TIA

Both of the Finns I know have brothers called Theo.

I like Niamh and I think it isn't so unusual that it would be a spelling nightmare in England.

I love Morven (good Scottish name) for a girl. It's just been vetoed by dh . Why is this naming malarky so bloomin difficult???

Thanks for all the suggestions - will have a think!

can't go with niamh - it's my cousins name but mainly it totally rhymes with our surname, so a complete no-no!!

Thanks again
