Baby names

Martha Rosa

Due to have my baby by ELCS on Wednesday. Love these two names but can I get away with using them together? Surname is Lynch.

Just starting to panic a little. It has been suggested that I split them with another name (which would be Ellen) but I'd rather stick to the two.

Urgent advice needed please. DH is useless and cannot help me decide.

Hmmm, I prefer Martha Rose (sorry) instead of the two 'a' sounds? But there is nothing 'wrong' with the two names together. (I love Martha by the way, DH dislikes unfortunately.)

I think together it sounds very pretty but maybe a bit too much with the a's at the end of bothe. I prefer just Martha Rose but it's fine if you like it. It's not awful as it is. They are both gorgeous names.

Martha Rose is better sounding, but if you love Martha Rosa, then go for it.

I agree with others that Martha Rose seems to flow better.

Lovely name.

Wonder whether Martha Rosanna flows a bit better? (Agree 2 "a"s often a bit much, but Rosanna a bit more like Rosa than Rose to my ear...?!)

Rose is too popular as a second name, or it is where I live anyway. Far too many May's and Rose's as second names so was looking for an alternative. I think both me and DH have agreed that Rosa isn't working with Martha and DH not keen on Rosanna though I like it.
So looks like we are going back to one of the original names of Martha Alice - Despite my love for Rosa, it just sounds better.
