Natalia ... which nickname?

Have decided on Natalia for DD, after my lovely mum. My mum has always been Nati for short, so we want a different nickname. We can think of Tally, Talia or Tilly. Which do you prefer? DS is Oscar.

Natalia is lovely and rolls of the tongue easily. I wouldn't shorten it at all.

I'd go for Talia

Whatever nickname you choose, once at school kids will most likely shorten it to Nat.

all your suggestions fine, but I would expect that as she gets older her friends will find their own shortening for her which may not be the same as yours Natz most likely!

Tali is lovely

nice, when she gets older she might want to choose her own nickname, I know an Isabela who has for a long time always been Izzy and is now "Bella" now she's started high school.

but Tali is my favourite.

Talia or Tali.

I think of Tilly as a nickname for Matilda (which I'm not keen on).

Wow went to have a soak in the bath and sort out a few things and so many replies! Thanks.

Looks like Tally/Tali and Talia are the favourites. I've heard of Tilly as a nickname for 'Natalie' so thought that might work but it's probably not such an obvious nickname.

We will call her by her full name but nice to have a nickname too.
