My 3 year old granddaughter has started dance classed and I would like to knit her a ballet wrap cardigan to wear over her leotard.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a pattern for this please?

I knitted one for DD when she was 3 and started ballet <<blub>>

I think I used a Debbie Bliss pattern, but I imagine there are a few patterns around as pink ballet wraps are popular!

you need to join ravelry as someone on their would know.

<ahem.
Ravelry member here!

Patterns for these are very available, I just googled variations of the words ballet, wrap, cardigan, pattern and a few came up.

Or try the patons website (just google patons) they will have one and I think you can just download patterns now for a small paypal or debit card charge.

My grandma knitted me one about 30 years ago. sniff.

Hi there
I knitted a wrap cardigan for my daughter from the Zoe Mellor book 'Adorable knits for tiny tots'. Got the book from John Lewis. It uses baby cashmerino and has actually been used for her ballet classes that she recently started. Was an easy knit - I did it in the evenings after my son was born and found it so satisfying! My sister is a hand knit designer also (MillaMia) so I will tell her to also think about doing something funky with a wrap style cardigan for her next collection!
