Hi
Think you answered your own question Do you mean completely joined like a tube? or doyou mean that its knitted in on piece up till underarm? Will check on the pattern for you later
think Ive worked it out, I think they assume that you will knit the 2 cast on stitches.
oops,
I really need your help ladies.
In a quest to stop eating, I thought I would dig the needles out again and I am trying to knit this

www.shapingdesign.com/Portals/0/involving/shalom_cardigan.pdf

I have a problem though with row 7, it tells me to knit to the end 2 stitches and then cast on 2 and then knit 2, so this would leave 2 stitches on needles.
Then I turned work and worked on row 8 (which Im fine with) but now (as I am working on circs realise my work is now joined up, should this be like this? As this is a cardi!!! Or is this me being a little dim.

any help appreciated

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
