Might have a go, a woman on the google sewing group I use posted it. Looks really easy, reckon it would be gorgeous in an Amy Butler fabric (if I could afford it of course)

Kits, it's easy to sew with a machine, just takes a bit of practice, there's some good tips about sewing in straight lines and curves (which is all you really need to know) here

That does look really nice, might give that a go.

This is another bag I like which I've tried making. This one I just find large enough bits of remenant (sp?) material to do them

RHW, how bizarre...I was looking at a carrier bag the other day trying to figure out how I could make it out of fabric and now you have given me the answer!!!!! Excellent! Thank you very much. I'll save this thread now so I can check back on it.

My sewing machine might even get a trip out for the occasion too Dior (and that does make a change!!!)

I just got some old 50's fabrics from ebay that I am itching to make something with. If it goes well everyone will get one for christmas though!
