I am a Joan Elliott fan, I also love Margaret Sherry..
I am currently coveting this one by Maria von Scharrenburg (sp?) but its over £40! Its a Lanarte kit. I might just have to treat myself

Each to their own, Enid, it wouldn;t do for us all to be the same!!! What kind of red samplers do you mean?

Miaou - is Derwentwater you? I remember you were setting up a company...I was looking at that site recently. It is on my favourites!

lol enid, I don't mind at all!! Was just winding you up

Not all derwentwater designs are mine - only those four in fact!! Did try setting up a company to sell my designs but it just got too complicated and needed too much investment. I haven't given up on the idea entirely though. But all my designs are quite bright/bold and they don't really fit with the Derwentwater image so they haven't taken on any more, sadly.

John Clayton. I like his flower panels, landscapes, panoramas, and bird portraits - very detailed designs but with very little or no backstitch.

The ones I've really enjoyed stitching were Venice and Stonehenge, and am currently doing Owl in Flight.

His designs usually are - I've enjoyed every stitch of the ones I've done.

I quite fancy the Kingfisher one next ...

(thank you WWB, that one is my fave too )

I like this guy but I think I would only want one on my wall. I love his style though.

Oh yes, I quite like the look of Michael Powell's designs too. He has a Venice Windows series which look good. Too much backstitch for my liking though!
