Decorating the nursery - Apple appliques/ motifs - Where to buy

Hello

I perhaps foolishly decided to do my own thing with the nursery decoration instead of buying matching "stuff"...

I am going with green and white and looking for little green apple motifs to sew onto things like the blinds and the cot tidy.

Any idea where I might find these? Have googled rather unsuccessfully.

I'm in North London, but will travel a bit if someone can tell me any great shops selling a huge range of haberdashery items. Would also be interested in fabric shops with a big range becuase I'm removing the pink and white liners from the white wicker baskets I bought and hoping to replace with lovely green and white fabric.

John Lewis was a disappointment on this front...

All help appreciated! Thanks!

No, but we've chosen a name which we joked stands for: Apple of Over Indulgent Father's Eye so that's why I had it in my head.

This will be no help, but I've spent hours trawling the internet for an apple embellishment for a card I make, with absolutely no luck. My personal theory is that the Apple computer company have copywrighted ever apple in the whole wide world

Great scheme idea, though- good luck!!
