Thanks for the nice comments - My fair is on Sunday - I'm in a flap.
I'm usless on deciding prices & worried that no one will buy anything !

The yarn sounds interesting muminfife - whereabouts is the fair? I'm just north of Dunfermline so might come for a look!

Whizzz, your stuff is gorgeous. Do you sell online? It reminds me a lot of the stuff a local woman round my way sells at www.thesilkjourney.com. Though I'm not liking her new ranges as much as yours!

It's just a hobby at the mo Suzi2 - I am trying to get a website together just to house some photos really - I prefer to make things to order specifically for someone rather than 'mass producing' lots of stuff !
This craft fair is a bit of a test - if it goes well, I will go ligit as a business (all be it a tiny one)

Just looked at your link at the prices - I couldn't imagine selling mine at that price (although I am planning doing more stuff with sterling silver)

muminfife - I like anything a bit different! I'm not a knitter though my mum is - I just like buying bits for crafts/cards but do a bit of macrame now and then.

They are gorgeous. How much do you sell them for?
What do you think of my paintings?
I am just trying out an idea that i have done for some friends and for my two kids. The idea being to paint babies first shoes.

they are sweet izoli. My 'std' necklaces will range from £5- £11, bracelets £5-6, earring £3-5 : although it does depend what beads I use. I am dying to do a sterling silver & crystal range

Have you guys seen www.tuggle.co.uk? It is a 'working mums at home' web site selling original crafts from wah mums. It might be good for your jewellery.
Do you think mums/ others would go for my paintings?

I hadn't seen that website before - how interesting! What a talented bunch of mums
The choker length necklaces like the one I linked to originally I was going to ask £5 for Ive tried to base it on prices I've seen in the shops & what I hope people will pay - hard to judge though

I don't know about anyone else, but I feel guilty actually charging money for something I love doing !!
Then I think 'well it will buy me more nice beads' - then I buy the nice beads....and don't want to part with them.
I'll never be rich
