Can anyone knit me some legwarmers?!

Please, please, pretty please .. I am generally a 'warm' person so don't wear trousers. My feet are warm in slippers but my legs from the knee down get REALLY cold! At the risk of being very 80's I bought some legwarmers but they don't fit my tree-trunk chunky legs!!
Don't care what colour or how outrageous or anything but can anyone help please?!

If you can kit yourself, make no of stitches equal to width around your leg and knit length from ankle to knee. Sew up straight edge and voila!!

Getting someone else to knit anything for you really isn't a cost-effective proposition, to put it mildly.

I'm sure I have a pattern for legwarmers somewhere, or could find one online. Alternatively, I'm sure you can find sized leg warmers online ... Here are some!

My mum used to wear old jumper arms, with the wool unraveled to square off the point (IFKWIM). Better wool and colours than leg warmers and free (use old jumpers).
Strictly for INSIDE use only

Thanx all. I think I'll go the route of the jumper thing. Ta muchly!

I used to wear them for dance. If I warmed up at the barre w/them on, I could stave off my Achilles tendonitis in my right leg.

I got them in dance shops dead cheap.
