Janome 7025 what does it include?

I am really keen on buying this machine as it appears to be the same as the Janome 525s Sewist, which is £50 more expensive. But, I can't work out exactly what is included in the box to work out if it is good value or if I will end up spending just as much as if I'd bought the Sewist. The John Lewis online description seems to differ from the picture and the staff in the shop didn't know and wouldn't open the box to check. I can't tell from the website reviews either.

Does anyone own this machine? Can you tell me what is included please?

TIA

I have a 7025, I've just looked at the item on John Lewis and my machine (which was bought 5 years ago) came with all the accessories shown in the pictures. At the time both John Lewis and Janome told me that the 7025 is a model number only sold at John Lewis, so I think it is very possible that it is the same as the 525, just slightly different dial colours, so that John Lewis can say the 7025 is exclusive to them.

Was there anything in particular you wanted to check came with the 7025?

I've been really pleased with my 7025 and reccomend it to everyone. I think it is a really good model for both beginners and experienced sewers, it will stitch through thick fabrics and is really nice and robust. Nothing about it seems flimsy, or like it might break.

Thank you Tutu, on the description list it does not sat it comes with the zipper foot, one of the sales assistants I asked said it doesn't but it is in the photo isn't it? I don't really want t have to buy it separately as it bumps up the cost another £15, plus it doesn't say that it includes spare bobbins, seam ripper etc which are in the photo.

I wonder if when you bought it it came with more stuff but they have scaled it back?

Great to know you would recommend it, I will probably buy it anyway, just a bit miffed if it doesn't come with the zipper foot.

Actually Tutu, on souble checking, it does say it comes with spare bobbins but it doesn't mention a zipper foot.

I'm pretty sure mine has a zipper foot. I've bought a binding foot and a walking foot but not any others.
I also love it!! The automatic button hole sold it for me

I got a variety of feet with mine. A normal zipper foot was included, but not an invisible zipper foot, although I'm not sure what the difference is. I got 4 bobbins, and I have bought some generic extra ones which were £2 for 4.

I would think that as the items are shown in the picture that they are included, otherwise it should be clearly explained that accessories aren't included. Otherwise it's false advertising isn't it? I'm surprised the assistant at John Lewis wasn't able to be more helpful.

It may be worth you contacting Janome and asking them to clarify whats included. I have had to contact them in the past and found them really helpful.

Thanks again Tutu, very helpful to know what you got and yes I would expect what is in the photo too. I will order it and have a moan to them if it is not! Though it is still slightly cheaper than the 525s even if I do end up having to buy the zipper foot separately.

I'm excited as off to buy it tomorrow!
