She's got the right sort of hair & loads of folks have commented that she looks like Merida which pleases her quite a bit Grin

I can't find a cheap pattern though! HELP!

Simplicity 1557 is the one I used. There's a few on ebay for between 5 and 6 quid. Is that one any good?

I was hoping for cheaper non disney but the same style if that makes sense. I only paid £3 ish for the other Disney ones I have.

I'll keep hunting & order that one if I don't find anything.

Thanks Raven Smile

Depending on your skill, you probably dont need a pattern. Do a google images search for "t-tunic" - start with that. It's a really simple fit&flare dress - one piece from shoulder to hem. Shape the sleeves at the wrist (and cut the sleeves and lace then back together). Highly recommend making an outer and inner dress, but if you just want to attach white bits to the sleeves and neckline, that's perfectly fine. Many sewing machines can do eyelet holes.

Does she have a bow and belt-quiver? Oooh! I'm excited just hearing about this!

Not sure if this is going to work: keep.org/office/chatelaine/tunic.htm a good basic t-tunic

Since the sleeves aren't attached anyway, you might be able to save fabric by cutting half the pieces upside down (not if the fabric has a nap, though, of course).

I'm not sure about skill Preemptive, more 'suck it and see' sort of thing. It worked out ok when I made a Sleeping Beauty princess dress off the top of my head though.

No bow or quiver yet...I'm half way through cutting Snow White dress pieces at the mo but like to be lining up my next projects Grin. The planning keeps me busy!

How did the Frozen dresses go?

They went really well! I haven't got a photo on my phone any more to show you though.

This years are Snow and Cinderella for my two. Plus a Cinderella for a mum at school if I have time. And one for a tiddler but not sure what her mam wants yet.
