Sorry - didn't think of that. But if people didn't look because it might be upsetting, they wouldn't find out what goes on and would keep buying cruelly-produced wool.

i nd to avoid stuff about animal cruelty at the best of times, am currently pg and pretty much anything is upsetting atm!

can buy british wool direct from producers - this site talks about australian sheep

yes, its bloody upsetting.

upsetting things happen and would rather know about them, tbh!

have been through stash and have naff all idea where most of the wool comes from. I do have a fair bit of merino though...

I've seen some links talking about making ethical PETA-approved wool, but not found it on UK sites, I don't think.
