I bought some once in our local independant art shop, was the only place I could find them at the time but I'm sure I've seen them in Asda since then.
WH Smith might have them

I buy loads of craft things, including coloured pipe cleaners from Wilkinsons.

They also do sparkly coloured pipe cleaners!!

Early Learning Centre sell them as well.

We also have a great shop called The Works and they do loads of craft stuff, really cheap.

fussymummy - I think I got county bookshops confused with the Works - we used to have both in town. They do lots of great craft stuff really cheaply, don't they? And very reasonable greetings cards, too.

Saw pipecleaners in Poundstretcher/Instore as well as loads of crafty stuff yesterday

humm, none of those near me, except elc who claim they don't do them in-store and don't seem to stock them on their website. Reluctant to buy on-line and pay postage just for pipe cleaners. Maybe I'll just have to find an old-fashioned tobacconists and paint whatever colour they stock . Thanks anyway for replies.

fortyplus i love that shop, so do my kids.

Card prices are really cheap, as is everything else in there!!!!

Books are great as well.

firemaiden what area do you live in???

Just wondering if i'd be able to get any pipe leaners to you.

Do you have Woolworths or W H Smiths??

Trying to think of where else sells them.

What about Asda or Tesco?

Many thanks for all your suggestions, and particularly for those who offered to send some to me - how very kind, really touched.

I had tried Woolies and WHSmith and was getting desperate but, by complete chance, I was passing a sewing shop this morning, in the rain, killing time while waiting for nursery to open. The lady put the shop open sign on the door just as I passed so I poked my head in and asked whether by any chance they had pipe cleaners and amazingly they did. Rather expensive but still...so sewing shops can be added to the list of good places to find pipe cleaners! (Will still keep an eye open for Pound shops etc when in the right area to stock up on these more cheaply but this at least covers Christmas.

Thanks again for all your help. Much appreciated .

HI
Do you have a wilkinsons near you because I buy mine there and they are really quite cheap (79p per pack if memory serves correctly)

Hope that helps
