Hello, my lovely niece has gone back to college to learn sewing techniques/design and so on (sorry, I don't know the terms!). I was thinking of buying her a nice sewing basket for Christmas and was hoping someone might be able to suggest a nice one? Something modern? TIA

House of Fraser haberdashery department have some.

I'd also try independent sewing/knitting shops and they often have great stuff to give you ideas.

John Lewis do nice ones.

There are some on Etsy too.

Or as above an independent store will be helpful.

I love the Cath Kidston sewing baskets and related bits. Prices reduced at the moment.
