Sorry I have only just seen the replies - thank you. I have already contacted MNHQ to ask the same thing. They said she would have received an email notifying her of the personal messages, so not any really more they could do.

I know she lives near me I don't really want to say more as there is every chance she is just busy and no longer checks that email. I thought if someone "knew" her in here they could get in touch.

No we did not agree a timescale but I think "a few weeks" was mentioned. These things happen I guess when people are busy but I am starting to expect I will not see it again.
