Ready to paint plaster figures?

My DD took part in a paint and take event recently where she painted plaster figurines. She really enjoyed it and has decided she would like to do something similar for her birthday this year. Does anyone have any idea where I can get hold of ready-made plaster figurines as we won't have time to make moulded figures and paint them in one afternoon?
Have tried google but keep getting results for kits which you have to mould or for incredibly pricey party packages and would prefer if possible to source figures and paint myself.

TIA for any help.

You can get porcelain kits eg. owls, dinosaurs at Yellow Moon.

Not sure if it's exactly what you're after though...

Hi DS
Thanks for that. Really wishing I'd thought of asking the stall holder where I could get the figurines. They were a bit bigger and she had things like plaques, skulls, daggers, animals etc. can find kits online but firstly they work out expensive if you need a lot and also the ones I have found are a bit babyish .... Ah well, will keep looking or hoping for other suggestions

Do they need to be plaster? A lot if craft places sell the paper mâché shapes and they come in all sizes and shapes. Might be cheaper too. Search for "deco patch" or "deco mâché" online.
