I have just bought a load of curtain fabric and blackout lining for some curtains for the living room in my new flat (large late-Victorian windows).
I have never made curtains before but I am a relatively competent seamstress and I'm in the process of bying a new heavy duty sewing machine to replace my old light weight one.
They are costing quite a lot so I want them to be as high-quality and multi-purpose as possible so I want to interline them to block out noise and draughts. However, I am a bit confused as to how to do this.
Do I interline and line the curtains with the interlining in the middle of the fabric sandwich iyswim? Or do you not bother lining interlined curtains?
Any links to instructions would be really useful!
This is the fabric I am using btw: www.fabric.com/buy/uh-213/premier-prints-small-dandelion-slub-white-yellow
