It might help if you knit the first stitch after you turn through the back of the loop. Haven't seen the pattern, haven't seen the holes, this is just something I do when turning heels and avoiding holes. The holes don't matter much, they are just part of the pattern. Just make sure you don't drop stitches when you turn you should be fine.
I'm knitting booties from issue 89 September. If anyone has this would you mind just looking at the booties pattern on pg 42 and explain why a hole is appearing when I shape the heel please. It was going well until then and two holes appeared where I turned. Thanks.
