It took me a while before I was happy with what I'd made and had the confidence to try & sell.
Started off with friends at work and now have done 1 craft fayre (limited success as bad venue) and school Xmas fayre (brill!).
Hoping to get a website sorted & be organised enough to do another fayre but most seems to be word of mouth (I put a contact name / email address on back of cards)

I've sold some on ebay. I've been doing it for a couple of months and am starting to get some repeat custom. I've also sold to a local craft shop and have some in my church's coffee shop. In my experience it takes a while before things really take off. Personalised cards do well on ebay.

If its not a rude question Riddo - how many do you sell on EBay (ie 1 a week?)? Its something I keep thinking of doing rather than a website but I don't know whether its a place people look for stuff like that ?

More like one a day but it varies and was quieter than that initially.

Hi Charlie95. I have just started sellling my cards. Not been brave enough til now Blush and am quite surprised of how well it is going. Just been mainly family and friends but I do have a couple of stalls booked over the next couple of months and my first 'card party' this Friday...yikes!! Will let you know how it goes. So far it has just been word of mouth. A few people who have received one of my cards have contacted me to make orders. (if you put a email address on the back of the card, people can then contact you).

I too, find its the 'personalised' touch that draw people in.

Package them nicely in cellophane wrapping. Makes them look much more professional and protects them too. hth
