This was a defining moment for me - my pizza box from Artbase was my first A&C purchase! And I'm still addicted to buying stash 6 months oneGrin

I've only just ordered this one today - so will let you know when I get it.

Last time it was chocka with lots of great stuff. There are a couple of sunflowery kind of papers which I have never used and I had to repaint a mixed box of making memories metalware as it was a bogging colour, but otherwise I used everything in the box. IIRC I got about £54 worth of stuff for £25 last time!

I wondered what sort of stuff was in them - I assume its the leftovers !

Anyone fancy buying one & splitting ?? I'd trust a trustyworthy MNetter not to give me all the yukky stuff !! Grin

the grab box was fab for getting stuff - if u know what I mean. When I was starting out it was fabulous to just have a play. They did a good job colour coordinating the bits and pieces but, as you say Whizz, I suspect it's lots of end of stock etc. I haven't used a lot of it but then I haven't used loads of what I have managed to accumulate :)

well.......

i want to know whether to order one

Pixiefish · 06/06/2006 15:07

katzg- personally I don't think I'll bother again-far better to buy a kit i think from soemwhere like jelliebeans scrapyard.

There were papers in the box plus laods of embekllies but have bnoticed on the site that most of the stuff in the box is now reduced so don't know whether it would be worth what they say at the reduced prices. I think it would be better if there was an option to buy a girly box or a boyish box. Lots of the stuff in mine is very masculine and I have a dd.

Mine was great - about £66 worth of stuff for £30 which is pretty good going!

A couple of the papers are not quite me, but I did get some really gorgeous one's too - nice pale, blues, lime greens and lemons.

There were certainly a few things in there that I would never have paid full price for though - glass brads at £4.65 and tailored letters at £7.90!!

It helps though that I have a boy and a girl because as PF says some of it was quite masculine colourwise.

Overall I'm really pleased with it though:)
