Make some notebooks for primary school leavers

The PTA want to make some notebooks for the Yr 6 leavers to write messages in - kind of like an autograph book.

The only way I could think is to get some quality white paper, or even coloured, cut it into A6 size and get some thick card for the back and front, and possibly print onto the card with school logo and years on. These would then be spiral bound, somehow.

Is there any better ideas out there - I have about 2.5 months to make or find 34 of these, for both girls and boys.

Won't they just get everyone to sign their school shirts?

Probably but that is on the last day. This is for a disco that they have a few weeks earlier.

Why don't you do a kind of photo book? Small passport size photos on each page, a different child each page, then leave under the photo blank for the person in the photo to write a message and everyone gets on of those books to get written in. That way you also have a picture and message.

Hope you get the idea, can't quite work out how to word it any better.

And I don't mean you have to get a photo of each child, for each page, of each book. You can just use the picture on one page and then photo copy the page with the pic say 35 times.

I really need sleep

Why not get them made? That's what our Y6 leavers get - a plain spiral bound notebook with the school logo on the front page.

Although there are 90 of them so that may make it more cost effective.

Thanks both of you - I know what you mean about photo books, but they will be too pricey. Liking the spiral bound book idea. Will go to the local print shop tomorrow. We could get more than we need and not add the year into it and then we will have them for next year.
