I fancy making \link{http://www.classiceliteyarns.com/email/IncaLaGranlg.html\this little jacket} and the instructions require some US yarn which I could prob send away for if I wanted to but I would prefer to buy from a UK supplier and preferably a real life one.

The jacket is made using 2 strands of Inca Alpaca and 1 strand of La Gran, both Classic Elite.

Together, these 3 strands make a tension of 13 st and 24 rows of 5.5 mm needles - bit unusual that, and indicates (I think) that the yarn is very fine.

I don't mind (in fact I'd prob prefer it) if this was all done in one yarn, but I cannot come up with a sub.

The row length indicates a DK quality or thereabouts, but the stitches are the equivalent of chunky/bulky...so I am at a loss.

I know there are some yarm fiends on here, though :)

Eee, Yarm.
Actually I am pretty bad at yarn subs, tamum rools on this front.
It's funny though - despite the odd tension square measurements tiktok, that looks like a nice fat slubby Rowan Bigga type yarn in the picture.
Tamum was so busy not swearing on the GF thread last night she might still be curled up asleep on her stash...
